I had a four different things I wanted to discuss so rather than writing four back to back blog posts and blowing up your emails, I’ll just say it all here in one busy post! 
I got a haircut today! Want to know the best part about the cut? I did it MYSELF! That’s right! Trimmed about an inch of length and all the nasty split ends off, added layers and trimmed my bangs. I am CRAZY about the end result I think I’ll just cut it myself for now on! The layers fall perfectly and the back is completely straight! I would have never thought this would be possible until I came across a video by fellow beauty blogger, Dhukai. Here’s the photo of my cut. Well of course my wish would be world peace, nobody having to starve and everyone having a roof over their head but since I can’t make that happen, I’m listing my superficial wishes. I’m currently upon the TOUGHEST times I’ve ever been in (monetarily speaking). I use to be able to pick myself up any ol’ thing I wanted but not so these days. I’m technically unemployed and until my makeup business really takes off, it’s going to be rough around here. I’m not complaining though, I have it so much better than most, I’m just stating that I’m unable to do a couple of things on my blog because of it.
There are TWO things I’m hoping and praying that Santa brings me this year. The first is a Clarisonic…I can’t believe I still don’t have one being a beauty blogging extraordinare and all! I have heard nothing but amazing things about this beauty tool and I can’t wait to try it for myself and review it for you someday (as well as give one away)! The second item I’m hoping for is a super-duper, high-tech camera/video camera. I R-E-F-U-S-E to film another video tutorial (or any video for that matter) until I get a camera. I tried to today and it was AWFUL! My built in MacBook camera just isn’t cutting it anymore. The quality is so poor that my videos are actually becoming embarrassing for me. I will keep my fingers crossed for these items and start saving my mulah at the same time in case sweet old Santa doesn’t pull through! WHAT’S ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST?
When I first started my blog in May of this year, I immediately met another beauty blogger who I instantly fell into a wonderful friendship with. Her name is Monique of Lisa Monique and she’s an organic, all-natural blogger who covers everything from beauty products, to babies to recipes! When I received my last big allotment of Jilladair Cosmetics, I decided to send her a few products to try out and to blog about since she ALWAYS, without second thought was there for me when starting up my blog! Plus Jilladair’s products are all-natural and vegan as is Monique’s blog so giving her some goodies was a no-brainer. She just wrote up a fabulous post about my favorite beauty product under the sun (Flawless Complexion Gel), so I just had to share!
